Goals & Objectives:
- Will aid in replenishing invertebrates and coral species in decline in the wild and develop techniques and technology to rebuild reef ecosystems.
- Will work with and instruct other institutions and companies on how to be able to provide various captive-bred invertebrates and coral species to the aquarium community in order to reduce demand on aquatic natural resources.
- Being captive bred the mortality rate will be significantly lower than species captured in the wild.
- By providing captive-bred species, a reduction in the demand on aquatic natural resources will occur.
- Will improve on existing propagation techniques through continued scientific research.
- Will work with schools and institutions (Elementary, Jr. High, High, Colleges and Universities) in order to increase awareness of aquaculture and its benefits to facilitate students' understanding of the subject.
- Will work with the public to increase awareness of humankind's effect on the reef ecosystems and how they can make a difference.
